sizes 10 x 13" AND 9 x12" 6x9" AND have a self-seal sticky strip, just peal the clear tab off and seal.
(fyi... be careful not to touch sticky strip to anything or the plastic bag too early---IT DOESN'T COME OFF!)

Great for making those shipments lighter!--these weigh less than brown/manila envelopes!! Not recommended for liquids or fragile items unless securely bubble wrapped or in jewelry box.

These can be folded in half and taped for smaller items.

Does it cost more or less to mail something inside this?

Hi! It usually always costs less, usually when shipping clothing or heavier (non-breakable) items. I use them for just about everything! Even boxed jewelry and cd's in a case. They poly envelope weighs practically nothing. With my Stamps.com account I can mail a 1 to 3 ounce package with one of these for only $1.93 w/tracking!! 2 staples I use religiously in my shipping are my poly-mailers and my stamps.com account -- I can give you more info on that too if you'd like :D

It really depends on what it is and how thick it is. Not everything can get tracking if it doesn't meet the requirements ---If it's between 1/4 & 3/4" it can go as a 'Large envelope' rate. If it's 3/4" or thicker it goes as a 'package' rate and gets tracking. I don't pay extra for tracking with my stamps.com account. I know they're charging $1.05 at the PO for it :o/
