Synopsis
Picture Maker is a young Mohawk artist who is kidnapped by the Algonquin tribe. Forced into slavery and sex by an evil man, she kills him and flees, pregnant. She finds refuge with a tribe but, when they kill her baby daughter, she joins a group of Inuits who cross into Greenland on the ice. There she meets a white man whom she feels she is fated to marry.
