I remember the first time I knew my cat was getting old. He started watching the squirrels instead of chasing them. That's what keeps them trim. I assume your cats are "inside" cats? You could build or have someone build a cat walk for you. My cat has rejected most toys and the bed I bought for him. After all, why sleep in a cat bed when a chair is so much more regal, lol?
