The USS Iowa, one of the two last battleships to see active duty into the 1970's has since been turned into a museum. The Iowa served in both Atlantic and Pacific during WWII and the only battleship to have a bathtub. The tub was installed to accommodate President Roosevelt who travel to a war time conference on board the ship. The Iowa was in Tokyo Harbor when the Japanese signed surrender papers on her sister ship, the USS Missouri in 1945.
