This auction is for one New Jersey Devils National Hockey League patch - a red "N" and "J" combined with devil horns and a tail on a black circle
(the shade of red was slightly altered between the 1998-99 and 1999-2000 seasons).

The New Jersey Devils are a professional hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey, that competes in the National Hockey League (NHL).
The club was founded in Kansas City, Missouri as the Kansas City Scouts in 1974, moved after two seasons to Denver, CO as the Colorado Rockies, and then established itself in New Jersey in 1982.
