1937 Silver Mercury Dime

I've said before I'm not a coin collector. I do a lot of buying of vintage things for my online shop. I won a couple auctions for dimes. This is one of them. The photo is from the auction house that I purchased it from. It is the actual coin you will receive.

If this is something special, well, good luck. I have another 1945-D Uncirculated Silver Mercury Dime Full Split Bands I'll probably list also. The description is what is typed on paperwork. Full bands doesn't mean anything to me even after googling it.

If you google it, it's on the back of the dime in the middle where they call the horizontal lines in the center "bands". They explain it's the place on the dime that is touched the most in normal use so it tends to wear down the separations, just like the one above. Now, on the uncirculated dime, I'll put that up tomorrow, you can see the bands are still separated. Reading about it was very interesting. I could get into coin collecting but it's such a vast hobby, I would have to concentrate on something in particular.
