The on/off button does not work thanks to the last listia who bought it! BUT you can use the Front power button to turn it on/off so YES it still can be turned on/off! But when you plug it in to charge it then it automatically turns on. Works great otherwise but you will need to unlock it.

I got this on listia because i knew it was an easy fix. The item is locked you just need to hook it to i-tunes to unlock it. well i have a Google ACER computer which is THE stupidest computer on the planet and it will not let me install I-Tunes SO for that reason i can not unlock it.

If YOU have I-tunes on your computer it will take you 90 seconds to unlock and it will be factory reset and be great! I just got this in the mail 3 days ago but I move into my new house tomorrow and just need the credits so i can fill my house with furniture. SO my loss your gain!
