Do they work on batteries or wired?

The one intercom has a 9 volt battery and then there is a long wire that must connect to the other!!! Hope that helps it is not a walkie talkie!!!

Battery is a 9 volt Also there is a wire that has to go to each unit it is long!! Hope that helps you.
