The Russian Revolution was actually a double revolution. The first overthrew Czar Nicholas and tried to establish a democratic government but that revolution got over thrown by the Communists. Coming to power in 1917, the Communists issued these stamps without perforations so cut off sheet. The stamps are uncanceled and with original gum.
