Oh, my goodness!!!! I have had this very same pattern for years now!!! I think it is just the cutest outfit for a baby ever! My youngest granddaughter was born in 2005 and I made this for her in pale pink!!! My daughter did put it on her long enough to take pictures of her in it, but she never let her wear it because she said it made her look like a huge pink marshmallow! My heart was crushed, until I understood that she didn't like pink and didn't want to dress her daughter in ruffles or lace because she didn't want her to turn out to be a 'girly girl'---whatever that is!!! The joke was on her ultimately, though, because my granddaughter is 9 now and her favorite color has always been pink and she loves clothes with ruffles and lace and is very particular about how she looks and what she wears! I bet she'd wear this outfit, if I could manage to adjust the directions to make it big enough for her! LOL! Good luck with your auction! I hope the bidding goes really high for you! I can tell any of the ladies out there who are bidding that I can personally vouch for how cute this outfit looks on a baby and how really easy it is to make. Thanks so much. I bought it thinking I would make it for future granddaughters then when the time came I couldn't find it. Found it in the attic when we moved.
