Another beautiful animal at the Dallas Zoo. Birds have always caught my eye. I have no idea what variety this is, but I enjoyed every minute of sketching and pastelling it. The feathered fella stands on a barren branch with a bright, sunny background.This is one of my dry media artworks.
Dry pastel (powdered pigment crayons) is my medium of choice.
