This is an original vintage 1960 Topps #301 JERRY DAVIE baseball card.

Jerry enlisted in the armed forces a year after being drafted by Detroit in 1952, delaying his MLB debut. After a 17-5, 2.25 season at AAA in 1958, he got his crack at the big leagues with the Tigers in 1959, compiling a 2-2 record with a 4.17 ERA in 11 games (5 starts). It would be Jerry's only call-up, and he retired from professional baseball after the 1960 season.
