lol they cheated you out of your money...i work for boost and these phone should never be sold for over $90+ tax...these phone are only worth $20 now because of all of boost upgrades. u need to go get your change back from the people who sold you this phone

well i am in s.c. so i dont know if that makes a difference but someone else said that some at the store may activate for free if u get on their good side

yes the coverage is way better. and boost phones also work better because they dont have the walkie talkies on the newer upgraded phones. so for some reason boost phones work alot better now. i love this phone anyway i had 2 one purple and one brown

No, lol. But you can ATTEMPT to unlock it. If you can unlock it to work on any GSM phone (sim card phones), then your in luck. I know this is a girl color, but if you get a skin or tight fighting case of some kind, no one will ever see the purple passion, lol. These older flip phones are good cause they take a beating, and you dont have to worry about butt dialing. Plus this model has a camera, extra bonus points.

If you go to a boost mobile store, they will activate the phone free, they did with me and I didnt sweet talk anybody lol I did that with all 3 of my phones and 2 were bought from target just activated at boost mobile store

I have this ph in brown and like i said the speaker just stopped working. The rest of the ph is fine just can't hear anything unless I put on headphones and that gets to be crazy. yes thats true, sorry didn't think of that when i asked. Hey if it is a i776 it will say it in tiny little letters when you open it under where the screen is. I'm pretty sure cause when i got mine I had a choice at first the purple or brown and I waited too long and got stuck with the brown. Anyways again Nice auction!!!! I'm bidding all i got.

also, for whoever wins this phone don't forget to sign up for the shrinkage plan cuz eventually after every 6 payments made on time it will start going down $5 at a time and can make payments as low as $35 a month!

@halfshot I have this exact same phone in both brown and purple, and unfortunetly these phones ear pieces dont last long at all! Also, you would have to purchase new ringtones or the same ringtones all over again because there is no way to transfer the ringtones from one phone to another because these phones dont have the micro sd card capability like the new ones do and that is the only way to transfer ringtones between phones.

hey halfshot, you should be able to take your sim card out of the old one and put in the new phone and transfer your ringtones there or if that doesnt work take the sim card from the new one and put in the old one and transfer the ringtones to the sim card. I have done this but its been a while and cant remember exactly how to do it. good luck

A Little Help From My Listia Friends......I have been racking my brain wonding if I should get this phone or not... Mine is the brown one to this and everything is perfect except the speaker for the ear piece stoped working. I still use the phone fine by using speaker ph. or ear bud speaker. I have download ringtones I paid for that I'll lose if I get this phone and all of my credits... On the other hand, This purple one is the one I wanted in the first place and the ear speaker works and I could always build more credits......CASEY did you download any special ringtones?
So Opinions Everyone.. What Should I do???
