A nice coin from the Presidential Dollar series. This coin is proof and has not been circulated, but it is a little "smudged". Still very nice!

Is the smudge something that can be wiped away or is it permanent?

It can be cleaned. I never clean the coins myself; I always leave it up to the buyer.

warm soapy water is never a bad idea and the only acceptable way to clean a coin.
