The listing, Set of 6 Vintage Tatting LACE Mini Doilies Pieces Ivory has ended.

Found 6 pieces of vintage tatting in an old sewing bucket. The vintage tatting shuttle will be posted later. These are all the same mini circle doily shapes and about 2-1/2 inches diameter. Color is an ivory, or off white. They can be used to decorate cards, tat together to a larger piece, used in jewelry making, earrings, One is perfect on the perfect little black dress!
Auction is for 6 the same

GIN gets a more vintage piece, square, tatting lace too, 2 x 2 inch square. Same color. No picture! SURPRISE!

soon my pretty soon....lol...
gosh, now i have to find it. These and the shuttle were in an OLD wooden souvenir box that had a mailing stamp on the bottom of the box..when "things" could be mailed without being wrapped! How long ago was that??? Barely read the cancellation stamp. So cool...

Are you a tatter? Can you tell is the joins/picots were joined together or sewn together. Just curious it might help to get a somewhat time frame cause they could be older then what is thought. Thanks in advance!!

no not a tatter, just found them in the old sewing bucket. You can enlarge the photo, i made it big for that so you could see details. I don't know the stitches, sorry!

beautiful. My Mom taught me how to tat, but never did much of it. She tatted and put them around hankerchiefs, my dress collars when I was in elementary school. She also crocheted. I will be watching this auction and maybe bidding.. Are you going to list anymore of them?
