19.5" necklace with "snowflake" pendant marked 925 ITALY....BEAUTIFUL!! with lobster claw closure.

19.5 inch flexible mesh-like chain marked 925 and Italy...several pictures but the hallmark is impossible to get any better because of the shine. Pendant size compared with a quarter (see picture) is a little larger. Elegant with any attire and a great gift as it is in like new condition having only lived in my jewelry box. I could not see any marking on the bale but it is very close together and nothing on the body/back of the snowflake. Nice bling to this piece! with shiny clear stones in the center and circle around the center.

Are the "arms" or "petals" of the flake enamel? or Mother of Pearl?

Neither. It appears to be some type of synthetic material that has "glittering" flecks imbedded within. The back is solid therefore I do not think it is any type of stone but best described with the attributes of a fire opal with the highlights. Hope that helps. Very striking piece.
