Lopez is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

THE PLAYER:
As a player Lopez was a 2 time All Star catcher, once with the Brooklyn Dodgers and once with the Pittsburgh Pirates, rapping out over 1500 hits in his career.
Lopez is better known as a manager, and everyone's favorite bridesmaid. In 17 seasons as a manager (6 with the Cleveland Indians, 11 with the Chicago White Sox) Lopez managed 2 pennant winners (1954, 1959) and finished in in second place, runner up for the pennant, 10 times in just a 15 year period. His career .584 winning percentage is one of the best in managerial history. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of fame in Cooperstown in 1977.

Card is in good shape. Corners are decent, no creases. Aside from some mild edgewear, which is common in 1962s, this card is a looker.
