Whitetyger68 only cheap rubies are light red. The most expensive rubies are called "pigeon blood red" and are very dark.

This ruby looks almost black. In the picture the flash made the stone look lighter than it is.

My overall rating is a 92%. It is lower as a seller because when my daughter got in a car accident, I got a few items out later than anticipated and people got testy. Also when I first started, I sent a couple items in regular envelope, and the receiver got n empty envelope.;( I have since learned how to ship properly, so please read my good reviews.

do you a certificate of authenticity to prove they are real diamonds? also the stone does look like a garnet but in turn a garnet is red also a garnet is a deep red where the ruby is a very light red. thanks beautiful ring fanned,watching

Why didn't you get it resized? It's really not that expensive to do. Depending on how many sizes different you need it to be, it should run about $50.00. Not that I'm complaining because I am bidding on this, but if it holds a sentimental value to you then maybe you should do that. I fanned too.

It's kinda funny how people on here remark and ask if its real. I wonder if they realize that it is 10 cents a point, 10 points a dollar, so 10,000 points is $1,000 dollars. They could probably buy a nice piece of jewelry for that. It is beautiful, It does look Ruby, and the Diamonds look like they are mounted like real ones. I am not an expert, but it does look like its worth the points.
