YOU ARE BIDDING ON 50+ SEEDS

I must say I am addicted to these! they taste like a kiwi only sweeter and they have a thin smooth skin, not fuzzy like a kiwi. Just pop it in your mouth like a grape or use them in a smoother. You can even make jam! Just remove the little stem where it was attached to the vine. You can see the size of them compared to my finger. The seeds are really tiny.

MORE INFORMATION BELOW

Germination is approximately one month
Plants can tolerate partial shade but yields will be optimized with full sunlight.
A trellis may be used to encourage horizontal growth for easy maintenance and harvesting; however, vines grow extremely quickly and require a strong trellis for support.
Each vine can grow up to 20 feet in a single season

Requires a male pollinator, at least one for every eight females

How to tell the gender
1. Wait until your kiwi flowers in spring. This is when you can differentiate the male from female plants.
2. Examine the center of the flowers where the anthers are located. Look for anthers covered with yellow pollen, as well as white stigmas that are a bit longer than the yellow anthers.
3. Determine if all the parts in the middle of the flower are yellow, pollen-covered anthers. These are male kiwi plants. Alternatively, notice if the centers of the flowers are filled with white stigmas, along with a few yellow anthers on the edges. These are female kiwi plants. The stigmas are sticky and catch the pollen from the male stigmas. The pollen developed on the female plant, however, is nonfunctional. They must be pollinated by a male plant.
As wind is the primary pollinator, plant the male to the west or the direction of the prevailing wind.
