this phone can only be used with net 10 but since the esn is bad it cannot be activated with their service.

oh ok so one last question how would u get the phone back on track so that it can be used in normal operation and service i mean i am not very literate with phones and ect. i just need a phone and wonder what it would take to make this phone right or what not cause i like the look of the phone

you can either change the motherboard with a clean esn or use it as an mp3 player or gaming device.
