Description

The listing, 3 Incredibly Unique carnivorous Pitcher plants - Eats Bugs in Garden - (GIN=Ships Free) has ended.

This auction is for 3 Plants shipped freshly dug mostly bare root. Each tuber/bulb will have 1 or 2 healthy young Pitchers on them when they ship.

Perennial plant
Zone 5+ All others will need to pot and bring inside for the winter.
Perhaps the Pitcher plant is the most mysterious leaf in the whole wide universe. With its unique ability to obtain food, it has inspired multitudes to reshape their concept on how nature really works.
Beautiful and easy to grow, American Pitcher Plants may be the most ravenous and underappreciated plants in horticulture. The bizarre and often handsome leaves can sometimes catch thousands of nasty insects such as ants, flies, and wasps. Their flowers are showy, brilliant and very unusual -- a wonderful bonus to an already handsome class of foliage plants

These look so cool! I could really use them in my organic garden since I don't us chemical bug killers. Very diluted dish soap & water in a spray bottle helps, but it doesn't deter everything. Anyway, are these annuals or perennials?

Perennials. They multiply underground as well as by seed but not agressively. They flower in early summer and seed in late summer! Awesome on the organics. These have saved my roses for sure! Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the super-fast response! I don't have enough credits right now. I have to stop procrastinating and put all the things I want to list onto Listia. Will you be auctioning more?

I will do a few more sets before fall sets in real well and will try to periodically do a few through winter! I totally understand! I have been procrastinating slot myself lately. (=
Thanks again!
