No they don't. I'll have to copy what they say about this supposedly NEW way of making the big bad boys of gold filled. I'm not really well educated in the gold filled and the plated. However, they guarantee that the way they make the gold filled items now that they will last a lifetime if taken care of properly much more than gold plated. They said it's stronger and the shine will last so much longer. I have one on and it still looks like it did when I first put it on months ago and I hadn't even cleaned it. My hand are in everything all the time. Something you could do research on so you would feel comfortable buying hon. Just google gold filled jewelry.
At the bottom of my listings is what I found everywhere I looked.
