Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well and happy today.
I have here from my grandmothers Jewelry Chest an Original 3 pc. Dancing (Chivaz) Gods Jewelry that may be different than normally seen. My Great-uncle brought this to my grandmother while on leave (he always brought presents to great-grandma and all his sisters). She put it in her dresser and never wore it. Not that she didn't like
it, my grandmother grew up during the depression and she didn't have a lot, so when she did get something nice,
even in her later years, she stashed everything away. My mom and I always thought she did this because it made her feel like she had things or It made up for things she did not have as a child. This set is special and unusual.
A lot of GI's and Navy personnel bought these sets as a
souvenir gift to girl friend and wives. 95% of the time these were in Sterling Silver, This set is 10 kt. White Gold, with sterling silver earring wires. Had to change
them to sterling, because on handling them for markings,
one of the wires broke. These were given to my grandmother approx. 1930 to 1933, when her brother
was in the navy. I hope you will understand and bid accordingly, to the reason why I started the bid higher than my usual's, but this is marked 10 kt. and it is a true
