These are made SPECIFICALLY for hot or cold crafts, sewing...

"Consists of hollow, polyester fibers needlepunched through a nonwoven substrate and through a reflective metalized poly film. The needled material is breathable and won’t break down with washing. The hollow fibers resist conduction while the reflective metalized poly film resists radiant energy. The energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source."

Whew! Basically these reflect heat or cold. Use one, or two per potholder - as you wish.


Add additional batting or leave as is if you like streamlined potholders. I don't like mine bulky. I'd rather be able to fold it on itself.
