my dad just bought an ipad 1. he works a lot and wanted me to find him a nice case to put it in plus he said he wants the keyboard too. will this work with the ipad 1 and does this have some sort of stand to hold it up or does it all just lay flat? thanks for ur help.

I know the pictures are kind of hard to tell, but yes there is a stand to hole the iPAD up in screen mode, as for the Keyboard working with iPAD 1 I am not sure, I am not really familiar with the first gen iPAD. If it has a USP port (even mini or micro) then this keyboard should work just fine.

as long as the tablet supports external USB. I use one for my Kyros and it works just fine. (Android OS)
