Description

The listing, IN MEMORY OF ROGER (THE FISH) has ended.

I am deeply saddened to announce the death of Roger, our fish. Roger lived a very short time but had a full and exciting life. He was born sometime in 2011 and bit the dust, ooppss, I meant passed away one month later. Roger bequeathed a few of his accessories to our Listia friends. Well, you never met Roger but I can assure you he was a friendly and fun fish. I do want you to know that Roger had a private memorial service with a burial at sea (aka the toilet). All the appropriate prayers were said and the youngest member of the family did a wonderful job of flushing him to his final domain. Anyway, Roger asked me to do this and with deep regret I am offering TETRA FILTER CARTRIDGES. There are 5 (FIVE) in this package with the filter holder and the time strips. There are also ICK CLEAR TANK BUDDIES (6-SIX TABLETS) and last but not least NO MORE ALGAE TANK BUDDIES (6-SIX TABLETS). If you bid on this please say a short and silent prayer for our dearly departed family member........Roger. Thank you. P.S.- This will NOT be coming in the boxes. Roger's mommy is trying to save a few bucks in shipping.

May Roger's memory live on & someone name their fish Roger in his honor. By the way, on spoiled cats, mom's cat, Jet,(he's jet black), has the guest bedroom for himself. If he feels "chilly" he demands that the electric blanket be turned on for him plus he has his own set of dishes. You can tell who runs that house. LOL

bettas are usually hardy fish. o.o mine managed to survive my week-long depression after hearing my friend in Japan was missing after the Tsunami. i'm really sorry you didn't get to enjoy the four to five years they usually live. D:

My condolences to your family. We also have had to say goodbye to many beloved fish over the years. We had a super kitty that would skillfully harvest our tank when ever we were out of eyesight. So much so that we gave up the fish and let out tank rest..... my prayers have been said for Roger and I know he is sleeping with the fishes and is very happy over the rainbow bridge.

I had to see what you were offering after the way you posted about poor Roger. I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. Didd you use dechlorinator in his water? Just asking. I currently do not have a fish as my daughter's cat,Steve, came for a visit. My cats ignored Alfred but Steve, unfortunately, enjoyed seafood. Since Steve is still here, no more fish for awhile. Luckily Moose,my rat, was locked in another room so he is doing quite well. Anyway, I'm sorry for your loosing Roger and the sensitive way you are respecting his wishes for the dispersal of his possecions. Save the boxes in rememberance of Roger. by the way, fanned.

Fish kind of gross me out and so all I did was greet Roger each day. I am a cat girl. In fact , my baby, Tigger, is sixteen years old and I love that old boy to pieces. He is so funny. Every single night at precisely 9:30 pm Tigger stands by steps and meows like a maniac. The reason you ask? Tigger thinks because he is tired the rest of us have to go upstairs and get in bed. Like the good humans we are..........we do as his highness requests. Lol!

D: my oldest betta fish, Cup, died today. he's gonna be buried beside our Japanese Cherry Tree, where all 'warriors' should be buried. i may bid on this. i have a 10 gallon tank that houses on betta, King Steve, and can always use Ick tabs, even though my fish rarely get sick(i'm a good fish mommy!). again, sorry 'bout Roger. You know the neatest pet we had for the kids when they were little was toads. We set up a tank which included running water and a filter . It had land and water there are various set ups for this. Then they caught the baby toads themselves. We fed them crickets which they caught and in the winter store bought. They saw the toads grow and they were really entertaining. easy to care for and taught the kids responsibility. The thing about toads are they shed when they grow and they have to be fed but if you forget a day they won't croak on you. They are used to having to look for their food. Ours lived 6 years and were old folk when they passed. One was so take we fed it by spoon when it got so old it could not find the crickets anymore.

We had a red eared slider turtle quite a few years ago. She grew so huge we had to give her to a pet shop! If we had had room for a kiddie pool we would have kept her. That girl was bigggggggg when we had to give her up.

My Beta and Goldfish would only last a few weeks. Lol. And I did everything the manual on Betas said to do. But I remember my first one passing. My mom and I took it to the lake and laid it to rest. I cried for days, so finely my mom hid the tank from me and I completely forgot about the passing. Anyways, fanned and watching! Hope for the best. Nice auction. ;)
P.S. My dog is just like your cat. xD She herds me to bed, the 11 pound poodle runs my house. xD
