No laptop parts. We have mobo's but they are specific to your processor chipset not the type of tower you have. I would need to know you processor type, unless your 8100 is still stock. Then I can look that up ..

P4 is just a series. There are different speeds (3.06ghz etc) and different sockets (478, 775, etc) the motherboard needs to have a socket with the same chipset as the processor. In other words each processor has a very specific arrangement of pins on the bottom. The mobo needs to be made to specifically accept each one of those pins in that specific configuration. So any P4 compatible motherboard won't work. Have you ever modded or upgraded your computer? If not then it has the stock processor which is super easy to discern. Or if you can get the model and/or serial from your motherboard that will tell u too. Hope that helps.

Hi, I appreciate your interest but it sounds like you aren't totally familiar with RAM..the memory capacity is listed in both title and description. This auction is for one stick. We have another stick or a different capacity in another auction. Your PC *must* run PC133 ram for it to accept this. The spec "512" has nothing to do with this auction.

well thanks but for your info i know plenty about ram and so forth and yes 512 does have some what to do with it, and well u dont have to get an attitude

No attitude meant at all. I don't treat my customers that way as you can see from my feedback and comments. Perhaps I misunderstood your questions. It is a 64MB stick so if you are looking for 512 memory or 1G or higher, then this def is way beneath your needs. No sense in using a slot for just 64MB if you require high performance as it sounds u do. i just don't want you to end up with an item you come to not want. No reason to be defensive. I meant no offense at all. I cannot read every potential buyer's techno-brain-knowledge LOL so I'm always first and foremost ready to tell people when this may not be the best item for them. There's few of us on Listia who are fluent in building and programming so way to go ;-) more power to us! Plz do let me know if you need info in detail.
