This is a very large locket, large enough to hold two good sized pictures of loved ones. This necklace is "not" an antique, but, it is vintage and an antique style. It measures 1 5/8" long and 1 5/16" wide. These measurements do not include the bail or tassel, just the locket itself. The chain measures 26" long. There are no stamps or markings on it, it's just a nice silver tone costume jewelry locket. There is a small spot on the back. I buffed it a little with a rag after I posted the picture and it lightened up quite a bit. It might come out all together, but, I can't guarantee that. Sorry the pictures are kind of dark. I took them outside, but, the sun was going down at the time, so, I didn't have much light.
