Every time I bid it immediately says I was outbid. How is that possible?

Someone must have bid more than the high bid. Example. The bid is 1. I come in and bid 100. The bid moves to 2. You come in and bid 3. You are outbid because I have bid 100. You become high bidder once you pass their proxy bid. I sure do hope that helped you
