"OFF CENTER" COINS ARE COINAGE THAT HAS BEEN STRUCK OUT OF COLLAR AND INCORRECTLY CENTERED WITH PART OF THE DESIGN MISSING. THESE ARE MIS-STRUCK COINS THAT WERE MADE WHEN THE PLANCHET DID NOT CENTER THE COINAGE PRESS PROPERLY. NO COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT A FEW ERROR COINS.
