No it doesn't go on the wall, it is free standing, it would sit on a shelf or dresser, it is only approx 2 inches tall.

Ok. TY. I know it comes with 5 pairs. But, I thought I saw 2 additional holes on the leg that a 6th pair could go on later. I was really looking for one that could hold the 6 pair I got for my Granddaughter. Wasn't really intrested in the earrings that are on it as much as the holder itself. May still bid. But really thought it looked like it would work for 6 pairs :-(
