Description

The listing, tid-bits-and-ting-a-lings. An art/craft/sewing surprize has ended.

I have been making up these packages for years and thought I'd see what my listia friends think.

Each package will be shipped in a wonderful plastic envelope measuring 9.5"x6"x1/2" (well taped of course.)
You will not know what is in the package until it arrives., The picture I posted is a sample of the kinds of things there will be in the containers. EVERY envelope is different, no two alike.
When you bid, you may request certain kinds of things such as TEXT, ALTERED ART, SEWING, SCRAPING, CRAFTING, KIDS CRAFTS, SHABBY CHIC, STATIONARY etc. I will try within reason to make sure you package has some of those items in it.

Your package may include any of the following:
sewing supplies, loose buttons, carded buttons needles, seam binding, bias tape, thread, embroidery thread, ribbon, twill tape, rick rack, patterns (complete or pattern paper), beads, wire, various stationary supplies, die cuts made from quality cardstock, scrapbook paper (cardstock in different sizes), adhesives, address labels, ball chains, new greeting cards; vintage pages from foreign language books, dictionaries, music, vintage books of interest, ledger papers, green stamps, envelopes, cancelled postage stamps, stickers, rubber stamps (usually unmounted), pieces of fabric and lace, flowers (prima type), tags, library cards, vintage advertising, stencils, fiber, hand made embellishments or cards and the list goes on....

Would you take a chance on me????

thanks Angel for your vote of confidence. My husband was severely injured about 20 years ago in an accident. he couldn't go back to his regular line of work because he lost the perriferal vision in one eye. He started doing odd jobs for friends at work and here he is 20 years later making a living at remodeling and even built us a whole house!. I may never make a living at my little tid-bit packs, but word of mouth has kept Ron in business, and it has been the same for me too!

I am a cardmaker for the most part. And shabby chic is one of my favorite styles, :-) Do you have an etsy that you sell these packets on?

I do have an etsy shop, but I don't have these on there. My shop is Everything Vintage, so most of the things in these packs wouldn't fit the vintage requirement. If my full time job wasn't in the way I'd open up another etsy and try them there. Well in good time, I'll see. Give me your email and I'll send you a link to how you can get them!!! I don't think we can share links here, can we? It's another group on the internet that I've been a part of for about 6 years.

Thanks! I just have so much stuff. I put all kinds of things in these plastic envelopes and ship them "naked", so when they arrive, you can see into them. They are all colorful and stuffed!!!

Oh cute idea! Totally watching and very interested. I'm into just about everything crafty but could always use interesting beads, buttons, lace, seam binding (in white or off white so I can dye it to match the project) fabric (like satin or chiffon for making flowers) Ohhhh this is so fun! :)

These packs are full of all kinds of things and are good for people who have diverse interests! I love crafting with children, sewing, paper crafts, altered art. The one thing I don't do is jewelry. That's probably because I don't wear it. It makes me feel too confined. Anyway, I do have beads from other trades so beads are often available!!! Wire too!

I don't make these all the time. I have a couple of big baskets that I put things in that I think might be interesting to someone else...usually things I have used part of myself. I am also a stuff-magnet. Things just find a home here without too much effort on my part. I move all my stuff to the living room floor for about 4 days and sort, sort, sort and then pack them up. I have a very patient husband!

Thank You! I am having fun doing this Listia thing. There are so many nice people here! Since I have started here I have also decided to list more things in my Etsy shop. I'm clearing out my spaces so I have reason to go shop again! Someone won a bid for a pieced quilt square and I sent three more as a bonus. I need a new slogan, like buy one get three whether you want them or not!

HAHA! It's funny you should say that you don't do jewelry cos you don't wear it. I don't wear it either, but I just think it's pretty. I mainly do earrings and purse charms/zipper pulls kind of thingies. (And stick pins, but those I use for crafting flowers and scrapbooks!) I LOVE crafting with my son. He's 4 and a half and is really starting to get into crafting as well. Might you list a "kids" version of this in the future? (Or do you sell these anywhere else or possibly trade?)

ABsolutely I will put one together with kids in mind. I have worked in children's ministry for 30 years and have tons of kid friendly things. I have kept up with the times, so nothing for children will be on the vintage edge of time! Our children's ministry at church has a store and I often make up little craft kits and donate them. They are the first things to go off the table! Also if you want one now if you win, just say so and I'll make one up. You don't have to take the one in the picture.

Kids! No wonder they come home saying their feet hurt then they take off their shoes and spill 50 pebble rocks onto my newly cleaned hardwood floor. I have learned to never blindly vaccum under a bed. I hate the stench of rubber vaccum belts coming to a halt! Good luck on your beading. My daughter makes jewelry and I might just like to check out your stash and see if she can use it!

If I win, I'd love to have a mix of me stuff and Ryder stuff ;) That way it's a present for both of us! I can imagine why these go so well at your church, they're so versatile and help you think of creative uses for other supplies! I've bid on quite a few of your other auctions only to be outbid! :( But I'm tryin! I'm gonna keep on tryin to get some of your lace! It's probably the prettiest lace I've seen just about anywhere!!! :)
