They do have small chips. I took pic of them. Could be covered with nail polish or paint.. Im not a crafty person else I would have done it.

F&W I love these ! they are so cute. I have egg salt n pepper shakers that are like these (in half). My mom started me on collecting sets when I was just 7. Too long ago to think of.
