You are so welcome. I do my best to respond to every one sometimes it takes me longer than others depending on what is going on. I enjoy beautiful pieces that are made by artists. One of the fun things I found out is that many dentists (older ones) like to make jewelry because when they went to dental school they had to learn how to make everything like gold fillings and the like because they didn't have the labs that they can send out to for the work now. I met many who made their wives first wedding rings from the 'scraps' from making filing and dental fixtures while they were in Dental School. So I had a few dentist mostly retired who did some repair work for me and some special pieces when someone had a cabachon from something/someone special they wanted made into something. I love when things have both form and function and always and added bonus when there is emotional meaning as well. It all started with a love of Crystals and grew from there. Wow! That is wonderful knowledge to have, so interestesting!!! And I am truly honored you took the time to share that with me. Too many people don't look into the the jewelry. They just see " Oh how beautiful, I want that! It would look so good on me!". I am not that way at at all. Things are things. But for me to want something, it always has a sentimental reason and story why. And it becomes meaningful to me. Such as the purple amethyst. It is my husband's birthstone . My birthstone is April. (Diamonds ) but hey!substitutions on those are just fine! Lol! And my Son. My only son who is not with me, his birthstone, sapphire for September. I have looked at I can't even count how many rings trying to find my birthstone with each of theirs or I could only imagine finding the three in one ring!! Oh goodness!! Also the things you spoke of, people don't understand the work, such hard work and God given talent behind these. Not a factory spitting them out...no meaning, no story behind any of it. The more I look at it the more I know its for me. It will be our one year wedding anniversary next month and also celebrating his being cancer Free!! All GLORY to God!! That is the feeling that I tell people is the way you know that this is the one that is calling to you. The way you can't get an piece out of your head. When you keep checking back to make sure someone hasn't GINNED it out from under you. Those are the ones I know that are calling to me and in that way these Amethyst call to you. I do believe that God and the Universe in their Divine Wisdom provide both the means and opportunity when the right one is in front of you. They would not lead you to it and show you with out providing for the rest of the puzzle. So with that I leave you with Have Faith, which I believe you have. God showed you the water but he can't make you drink. I pray you have both means and the opportunity when the time is right. Hey, I know that it is so hard to see the way out when we are in the "thick of it" so to speak. The beauty is God not only has a bird's eye view but designed the "thick" =) Which can seem like meaningless platitudes when you are down. We have all heard the "God only gives us what we can handle ......I wish he didn't trust me so much" which seems funny but the other day I saw a Movie about the Christian Music Artist Rich Mullins and he was talking about surrender. I think, well I know for me, I have a problem surrendering any situation to God. Throwing my hand up and putting all faith and trust in him and surrendering completely I don't do well. Most of us don't. Which really got me to thinking would my life go smoother if I could? So I don't know if that is something you struggle with but I figure that nothing happens by chance and it was the first thing I thought of when I was reading your comment. If you need a shoulder please feel free to send me a private message. God Gave me two big shoulders and I am a good listener/reader. Hang in there friend and remember that YOU ARE LOVED!

Thanks so much! I know we all have our good weeks and bad ones and last week was one of those weeks where I had to work really hard to stay positive. I had several people who were being negative on my auctions but now things have turned around and everything is right back to to where they are normally. Which just goes to show that the positive energy really is so much more powerful than it's opposite and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful group of Listia friends' and family. Well I can tell you how I did it. First in 2000 I got hit head on by a truck while on my way to work. I had just moved to Missouri to get my Master, I didn't know any one, and there I was having to learn to walk again. I had to spend a couple of months in a nursing home because I didn't have family to care for me. One day I after I was out and working two jobs to catch up with all my bills and was having to use use crutches because my shattered leg still hadn't healed. I was really frustrated b/c it was 6:30 AM and that was the only time I could do my physical therapy and still make it to both my jobs. I was sitting in my car feeling sorry when I saw a young girl(I would later find out she was 17) get out of her vehicle and she only only had one leg. I thought at that moment I was so blessed to have both my legs and yes I was broken but I was whole. So even now with Cancer at 34 then another round at 36 I have a wonderful hubby and the cutest and sweetest baby boy (he's 8 so not really a baby anymore) but an attitude of gratitude is what I choose to have. Every day no matter how bad I have a little book that I write down three things I have that I am thankful for. No skipping even on the worst chemo days ... those are the days I need it most. Because the truth is that every day I have Faith I have more than most. I live in a country where I am free to celebrate my faith. Those two things alone are worth being grateful for. So that is my secret and it is not always easy. Attitude of gratitude. No matter how bad I think I have it ...someone has it worse. I pray light starts shining into your life very soon =)
