Thank you for browsing.
So...I’ve got this little affinity (oh, you’ve seen my other auctions...alright...obsession) for the 1967 Canadian “Hopping Rabbit” nickel.
The winner of this auction will receive one (1) 1967 Canadian 5 cent (nickel) coin - freshly removed from a mint roll (3rd pic) - this is the first coin removed from the roll. This coin has a metal composition of 99.9% nickel; diameter of 21.21mm; weight 4.54 grams and mintage was 37,000,000.
Despite what my friends and I believed (wished), when we were wee boys, there is absolutely no scientific evidence that this coin will bring you fame, fortune or Farrah Fawcett. ;-) But then, there’s no proof that it won’t either. Maybe, fresh from the roll, these coins will be full of luck...
DOUBLE BONUS - Because you just know that someone you show this coin is going to want one, really bad - the winner of this auction will receive an additional uncirculated 1967 ‘Hopping Rabbit’ nickel)s for a total of two (2). The winner will also receive two (2) 2012 Canadian 1 cent (penny) coins - copper-plated steel - from a freshly opened mint roll. Now you can Share It Forward and maybe it will be the sharing that ‘unlocks’ the luck...
PLEASE NOTE - You may not receive the exact coins shown in the photos - these are for illustration purposes. Your coin will be in uncirculated condition, from a mint roll, but may have slight imperfections from the minting and/or handling processes of the coin. Mention of “fame, fortune and FF” for entertainment purposes only - no guarantee is implied or warranted by the seller. Coin easel NOT included.
