The listing, About 10 Yards Assorted Polyester Fabrics (4 Different Prints) has ended.
Up for bid are four pieces of retro polyester fabric that I got at a recent house sale. The former owner was a seamstress, and the fabrics are clean and smoke-free. They are vintage (1960s and 1970s).
The orange / black / white pieces are crepe. I would consider both pieces, fabrics from which you would make scarves (but I am not a seamstress, so I imagine there are a lot of other uses for this type fabric).
The striped piece is 2 yds. x 46". The flower / dot piece is 56" x 46". Both pieces would work well together, as the colors are the same in each (orange NOT pumpkin like it shows on my browser).
The next two are polyester Pongee fabric. The first one pictured measures 3-1/8 yard and is from Soptra Fabrics, and the second measures 3 yards (maker unknown).
I was not familiar with pongee, but evidently it is used as a lining and for scarves also. I do see it listed for other uses, and I saw dresses and gowns made from this type fabric on another site.
45" is the width of the plaid; the red is stapled along the edge from the manufacturer, but I assume it is at least that wide also.
I just thought these were neat fabrics that someone might be able to use!
Smoke-free homes (both the former owner and mine). If you look up the cost of any of these by-the-yard, this is a great buy! :)
