Never used as a phone or registered with Net10, I purchased the phone at K-Mart to be used as an mp3 player. No scratches or wear. The original box was partially destroyed while being stored, without the phone inside. The salvaged box portions are included. Instructions are printed on them.

Research tells me that this phone has 1 GB internal storage. That's probably because it has so much to offer pre-installed. That info was hard to find, too. I always advise that external memory (SD) should be used for anything valuable. When the day comes for the battery's demise, you can lose all data. I've never placed much value on internal storage because I depend upon external memory. This phone accommodates up to 32 GB, so you can upload stuff on the SD forever. Thanks for your interest.

As stated in my description, this phone was never used as a phone, nor was it registered with Net10. It's virtually new out of the box. It is under the auspices of Net10 unless Net10 provides you with the code for unlocking. Please read my ad thoroughly, along with an update that addresses unlocking.

No, it's a 1G because of all the apps included. I have no idea if some of the apps can be uninstalled since I am not a cell phone junkie. I've been insisting that people read carefully, and even I missed the 1G indicator in the copy-pasted specs.

I hope you prove me wrong but I copy-pasted the specs off the Web and then found another Web source which stated the same thing. I don't remember which sites but they are techie and as reliable as CNET. I don't depend upon sites where people post opinions.

The phone may have a 4G capacity but it could be that with all the apps installed, 1G remains. I think that LG probably loaded a lot of apps as a justification for its performance and high price.

I'm with you. It's inconceivable that this phone isn't touted as 4G; however, to me, external memory is more important for saving valuable data.
