*****BIDDER WILL GET 5 SEEDS****

Its bark is multi hued and is the most distinctive feature of this tree. Patches of bark shed annually, and when they start to mature tones of blue, purple, orange and maroon start to appear. It is a fast growing tree that will reach 100 feet or more in height. Growth rate is about 6 to 10 feet per year in warmer climate. It is an evergreen tree that needs a lot of space and moisture. should be grown in zones 10 or 11 in the United States. This tree requires rainforest like environments with high annual rainfall and lots of humidity. It is a quite hardy tree and is used in construction and furniture making. In tropical regions, it is used to make pulp, paper and timber. can grow as much as 100 feet in just seven years.

****** Seeds are shallowly sown -- a 1/16-inch layer of soil is sufficient coverage for the seeds. The soil must remain moist throughout the germination period. This is best done with a water-filled spray bottle because this won't wash away the seeds. seeds require a humidity of about 100 percent. Covering the tray with plastic wrap can help raise the humidity level. To promote aeration, make holes in the plastic wrap.To germinate the seeds, a shady area and a temperature of about 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit is required. Place a heating mat underneath the seed-raising tray to provide a consistent temperature. Seeds can germinate within four to 20 days. During germination, move the tray to a semi-shaded area. Once the seeds have germinated, place them in a sunny window or under grow lights. To avoid growing weak seedlings, expose them to a temperature of about 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thank you, I have grown things out of my zone before if I consider the micro climate in my yard, it's a risk but for certain things it's worth a try, hope you find it could grow there. It is a beautiful tree. Fanning you back and wishing you luck.

That's a shame...It is a beautiful tree.
I bought my seed from a man that grows them in Tennessee so they do grow further north that the stats show...It is probably iffy though.
Thanks for looking....

It is a pity, thanks for commenting.
I ordered these seed and he sent too many , so I thought I would
share with Listians.
I think this is a beautiful tree, hope it does well
I like the fact that it grows quickly, but it gets really big too so it takes someone with a large area to devote to the tree..
