If steam lists that it is not for Mac on there store page it won't be. Else wise there may be a unofficial port which will half the time work or not work at all. Just looking out for you I'm best interest so you Dont get stuck with a game you can't play :)

Thanks for the clarification. I might start to put down if games work on Mac and Linux later--at least with games that I know are on multiple platforms and might cause some confusion.

I'm not entirely sure. I'm going to lean towards it isn't, since I can't find any info about it on Steam working on Mac, and there being a version of the game on the Mac appstore itself. That probably means they're both separate entities and the Steam version will only work on Windows.
