Would they be to heavy for a 10 yr. old? How big are they? Inches long? Thanks!

they are 1 inch wide and dangle 1 1/2 inches. When I took them out of the package to measure them, I dropped one on the ceramic tile floor and broke it, so I will either have this auction removed or the winner can have an amber colored pair. sorry.
