I had an aunt (that I really didn't know) pass away 2 years ago. Some of her things were given to my grandmother and put into storage (grammas basement). Well my grandmother decided it was time to throw things away. Literally while things were being put into garbage bags, I swooped in and rescued 5 plastic shoe box size containers from being tossed into the garbage. To my shocking surprise, these boxes are a treasure trove! Literally thousands of dollars in jewelry (mostly sterling) findings, beads, odds and ends. My aunt apparently wore, made, bought sold, repurposed and HOARDED jewelry and anything to do with jewelry. She was very meticulous and a lot of the baggies had hand written 'paper work' about the piece. Many never worn with original tags. I will be listing quite a few pieces here on listia but some of the more interesting, or clearly more expensive items will be listed on eBay.
