If the code is known to be from Bluray it will ALWAYS be indicated as such in the title of the listing. If the title does not specifically state "FROM BLU RAY", it is unknown if it is from DVD or Blu Ray and could be from either source. Despite the source, I will not guarantee HD or HDX redemption, as studios sometimes provide the wrong codes, or just do not provide HDX redemption for some reason.

What makes this a rare code? Doesn't it just come with a blu ray or DVD like other?

Several things make it rare...nobody buys it any more, so the codes do not come around often. Many of the copies with codes were sold at the onset, most new ones in the stores do not have codes. This was a smaller release to begin with, so not many codes were even floating around when it first came out. Next, most of the codes you would find for this title expired and no longer work since they are direct Vudu entry. Most of those do not get their expiration pushed like numerous UV titles get. Another reason....you can look all over online. You won't find many if ANY people/stores selling this code. All things combined, it is rare to find a working code for this movie.

Yes...also, only Wal-Mart released a code with it for vudu. All other copies from other stores only had iTunes

Yeah I hate it when it's only iTunes because I have vudu on my blu ray and playstation 3 and like to watch things on the big TVs we have not the computer.
