Its very nice. I really like it and am looking for a Coach as I don't have one. Respectfully though I have to ask...why is the shipping so high? Canada is kinda close all things considered.

@ wontchalookatthat-exactly what color do think the 07 model should be? Interior lining colors do vary. Attached is a link for the exact same model/creed. In fact when you research this particular model #, many come up with the same design, interior makeup, hardware etc. I share shopperwalker's assessment that this IS in fact authentic! Furthermore I'd be very interested to hear you explaining your theory in precise detail. Nice auction-good luck!

I'm sorry, WontchaLookAtThat, but I disagree with your assessment. I also have been buying and selling Coach handbags for many years (my first online Coach auction was in 1997 on eBay when I sold a navy leather zip top shoulder bag I had purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue several years before) and also recognize the detail. As with any number of "experts" on a topic, it is likely there will not be agreement, but let me tell you why I believe this bag to be genuine. I look at this bag and see:
*Quality of the sewing
*Cleanness of seam lines
*Vachetta leather trim (I really don't know of any counterfeiters using fine quality leathers like Vachetta--most of them barely use leather at all, and by the time it's 7 years old, it will have broken, peeled, curled, or cracked)
* Vivid purple satin lining (clearly high quality to appear so rich after nearly 7 years with no apparent unevenness or fading, and counterfeiters have a penchant for using cheap linings that look like they're made of crepe paper, not satiny and lush)
* Sewn, not glued, leather loops on the zipper pull
* Evenly placed C's at the seams
* Still shiny brass hardware (I have yet to see a counterfeit bag that has decent looking hardware after just a year)

There were at least 4 different sizes of this bag, and at least twice as many fabric and trim options during 2007 and 2008--are you really so confident you know every iteration of the Carly bag made during that time? I put my confidence that this bag is legitimate at 99%--the highest I will go when I didn't personally purchase a bag new. And as an added point, I am going to bid on this bag, though it's not really one I need or even really want, just to make the point that I am that confident of its authenticity.

I used to sell coach handbags. The year of that style tells me that the color is off as well as the pattern. It's all in the detail :) I also know a lot about Michael kors

I'm no expert but after doing hours of research to authenticate my recent purchase on Listia, I don't see anything that says this might be a fake. I've had many replicas in my teen years when I couldn't afford the real thing and fake bags don't last more than a year or two let a lone 7. FWB
