I know. All you can say with you look at this is.... WOW or COOL. This is a very unusual pendant. For one is the size of amber. It's 2 3/4" long and almost 1" thick. it has a scorpion embedded in the amber. Some might say Ewwwww. I for one say Awesome!
I found a couple of these at a little antique store and snapped them up because I know how many amber lovers there are here. I'm not sure of the metal type but I do know that there's no marking on them so probably not sterling silver. This is a very unique item and one that I know someone will have to have. Nope. I just had someone buy one from me and they love amber. They were VERY happy with it. They know amber and said it was real. It's not a light piece. It has some weight to it.

Real amber sinks in fresh water but floats in salt water; that is a way to test it!

Yes to test amber it has to be only amber so the metal would cause it to sink

The one that i have was identical to this not only did i get it tested by a geologist that told me it was Amber the metal around it tested positive for sterling silver i wish i could post a picture of it
