12 wine corks for art and mixed media - I LOVE LOVE LOVE altering wine corks!! I don't drink but I've accumulated quite a stash of these (definitely enough to share a few) - there's so much you can do with them, slice them to make jewelry ( earrings, necklaces, bracelets, keychains, chunky charm dangles ), Alter them for home decor (The last 4 pics are of corks I have altered, they are NOT included in the listing but just to give you an idea), they're great for steampunk projects, victorian, shabby chic, cut out some dies by Sizzix or Tim Holtz and add them to it, make a display out of chipboard or cut out some Cricut or other electronic shape, paint them, wrap them in embossed clay, stamp on them with StazOn ink or color with patina or alcohol inks. People have made coasters and pin boards with them - just look up on Pinterest or art sites -- there's thousands of projects and ideas :) on the internet. There are 12 corks in this lot - I always send a little random freebie with all my craft swaps, from a piece of filigree to a metal charm or something else crafty. These are from REAL wine bottles so they have the puncture in the top where the cork screw went in and may have a light fruity wine odor (I don't smell any right now but my sniffer isn't that great). -- These corks are a mixture of real cork and synthetic.
