its not an instant killer of bugz. it a natural deterrent and kills them in long term... what it is...... is little dino type critters that are shredded up into a powder..... when the live bugz walk over or come in contact with the stuff it microscopically cutz them and they slowly dehydrate. in-which they end up taking back to their bed area and thus possibly help shred others in their bed/walk areas

adult or child....as with ANY powders, even baby powder, infant formula powder, dust n dirt or even cat litters you need to make sure its not puffed in the air. One I hate and burns... is cool aide OMG that stuff burns. I use my teeth to open packages and have sniffed it on accident before lol...
also your not suppose to vacuum with a child in the room cuz of particles floating in the air that flake off normal every day stuff . I dont think they have taught that for over 20 year. even the un-noticeable decay of powder off plastics and toys..even the carpets themselves........

I do not know about direct contact with babys. in dry form. its used in pool filters too so ..shugs shoulders..... My son is an adult now (28)..

check online for better details ..OK.. but as with most things Id not do direct float in air contact with any child................

I have never had bed bugz or lice but because others I know have.. I know a bit on it to deter it.....my dog even rolls in DE

vacuum the baby car seat (if material) take a hose to it let it dry then vacuum again. no bug residue is your goal.

if you dont have bed bugz yet sprinkle in between your bed mattress (vacuum your mattress first btw) and sprinkle lightly you carpets in house and floors in vehicles.. monthly..

I have a waterbed it gets vacuumed and washed monthly

Lice deterrent.. a large water spray bottle with a couple caps of vinegar in it... spray carpets and car once a month at least. every few days if you are a family taxi lol.

they also sell a hand pump bed bug spray at rite aid for 9 bucks... spray hotbox car and clean the heck out of your car.

use DE as a long term deterrent

I do not promote peeps becoming OCD (like monk) BUT at least monthly take 5 mins and spray and sprinkle ....ya know.

I live In an apartment that is infested with bedbugs invading home after coming home thru our outlets , and replacing furniture is expensive DE is is the best to keep them at bay ...also ducktape outlets so nothing comes back in ;)
