Description

The listing, Feathered Phonics: Teach Your Parakeet or Cockatiel to Speak! has ended.

This cd teaches your parakeet or cockatiel to speak and sing certain phrases and songs!

I can vouch for this product because I've used it successfully with two cockatiels: one male and one female!

I do have another listing for this software that comes with the case and booklet so fan me and check out that listing, too!

I'm cleaning out my cd binders and am listing commercial cd's I no longer use. Because the disks have been stored in protective sleeves in binders, a paper (or plain plastic) case will be provided.

CD will be shipped free to anywhere in the U.S. in bubble envelope.

Hi! Thanks for your bid! No, I don't have anything else for birds. Sorry. :-0

Hmmm...birds are birds but not necessarily. A cockatoo is awfully close to a cockatiel...only bigger. Run a search on the internet before bidding. That's what I would do to see if Cockatoos can pick up on recorded words played over and over. I would say, "Yes," but I'm not an expert. My cockatiel, your bird's cousin, has done really well with it but HE was STUBBORN. Then he surprised me with a whole slew out of his mouth one day...in the middle of singing, no less.

Oh, and his new "Andy Griffith" song. I whistle back to him to keep the song going or he'll stop to let me "fill in the blanks" and move right along. He's a stubborn guy learning (or so I thought)...it took several weeks before he showed me he "got it."

I have a quaker parrot that does not talk at all she whistles to you and then mimics you. But i have a Macaw that does not shut up, lol. I am ready for him to learn some new words, LOL. I love them both. This would be great for them.

How can you have 2 different auctions for the same cd?

Because I have two cds: one I stored in its case and the other was stored in a cd binder.

That's cute re: the Quaker parrot and Macaw. You'd never feel alone in YOUR house, that's for sure :-)

Keep trying! When I want something badly enough, I put in the most I'd pay on it with my credits and hope for the best. It's crazy, I know, but at least there aren't snipers like on eBay. At least you know you're just up against someone who has more credits (at the moment)! And, too, there's no shill bidding, either. I think that's part of the reason Listia is gaining such a following.

Sorry that is probably my fault. I just throw a blanket bid up there and you have to go over it to beat me. I do it so I don't have to sit at the computer. Chipper my macaw says "call the dog, here kittty kitty kitty". lol

That's too cute! Yeah, maybe time for a new vocabulary, huh? There are really cute sayings on this disk. Your Macaw would think he's in a new school...LOL.

Wait until your Macaw hears "Andy Griffith" stuff. He'll have fun with songs and new sentences and words to mimic. :-) Yep, it's time. Just find a cd player for him and put the disk in near his cage....then watch his head, "Oh, hey, you want me to learn THIS stuff now?" LOL
