Description

The listing, UNUSUAL/DIFFERENT PHILODENDRON~SWISS CHEESE~2 STARTS~L@@K!! has ended.

Here today, we have 2 starts of my Swiss Cheese Philodendron basket. This is a great plant and easy to care for, like any other philodendron. It requires a bright, indirect light.. Each leaf is full of holes (when leaf matures)-as if it had been shot with a shotgun~THUS THE NAME~SWISS CHEESE. Photo #1 is my hanging basket these cuttings have been clipped from (plant in basket is my Mother Plant--NOT INCLUDED) Photo #2 is of the two starts you are bidding on. I have them rooting in water at this time. Hopefully--by the end of the auction, they will have several nice roots. Otherwise---you will just receive the clippings without roots! This plant can (AND WILL) crawl up a plant pole. It does best if you allow the soil to dry 1-2" deep before watering, and loves to be fertilized bi-monthly.
*************NOTE******************
THIS PLANT IS POISONOUS TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS, IF INGESTED!!!

I offer FREE SHIPPING to save you $$$$$!!

Girl---I just KEEP finding different one--I currently have 5 varieties---one which is up now for auction --called WHITE QUEEN--I believe. Then I have the Christmas aloe--red edged one called Christmas Carol (the one you won) Then I have one just like that--but the edges are YELLOW instead of red---don't know the name. Then I have one that is with long SKINNY leaves--haven't found the name, then I have Aloe Vera---the medicinal one for burns and abrasions. I am getting there with a few of them. Keep watching--more to come!!! Have a GREAT week!!

So is this the same as a SPLIT LEAF?
Aug 24th, 2014 at 4:30:51 PM PDT by
Original
No---it's NOT. A SPLIT LEAF has HUGE leaves and they split on the sides and the splits go inward. These leaves are MUCH small and they grow with holes inside the leaves. Hope that helps!!
