I haven't seen this yet. Is it as poor as they say? I did not read the book either, so I have nothing to compare it to. On the Tom Hanks scale, with a being Saving Private Ryan and 10 being Bosom Buddies.......where would you place it?

The book is always better than the movie. I liked it though. I would place it in the middle. I still liked the book better but, I have watched the move a few times now. Hope that helps. :)
