agp Geforce FX 5500 256 MB. it works but it is not working right . when turned on bios boot the white letters are yellow. it is functional but i cannot guaranty it it is as is

It absolutely needs a heatsink and fan. hopefully it is not fried.

yes it needs a heat sink. as for being fried i dont belive it is i can turn it on and it displays but the color is weird and in bios boot up it shows weird leters and numbers
